GC was selling for 99$, this didn`t help against PS2. Just understand, that after reaching mass market PRICE(249-299$), other pricecut won`t have THAT big longterm effect, as entering to mass market price.

The point, is having a BIG gap and continue OUTSELLING competitor by A LOT, like a Wii for example. x360 is not doing that. That`s why it hasn`t won NA, neither lost.
