Hmm, is it possible Sony could release this LTD bundle and enjoy sell through for a couple of months and then, as the LTD's availability dries up, introduce a $299 console in September/October?
The pricecut doesn't have to happen at the same time as E3/launch of this LTD bundle; this is what you are struggling to comprehend.
