Whoa now. He isn't judging anyone. He's saying that Christians should be against homosexuality as the Bible calls it a sin.

And no, Christians are not supposed to judge others, but that doesn't make any Christian infalliable. Being judgmental is something that the older churches have tons of trouble with.

I agree. That statement was a bit much. But I've had to deal with that issue a lot x.o That's why it bothers me. It's not specifically because of him that I get frustrated over the issue. It's moreso that a lot of churches (pretty much every church my mom has ever made me go to) has been all about how it's wrong to be gay and acting as if it were nearly as bad as murder or rape. It's the mentality that gets on my nerves, not so much the individual. I personally don't have an issue with him and I do apologize to you sonicshuffle for making that claim. But at the same time, not every sect of Christianity is against the idea of homosexuals. I know the Episcopalian (however it's spelled) have been very open to homosexuality in comparison to other forms of Christianity (ugh! every baptist church I've been to).

Some churches view it as a mortal sin, while others view it along the lines of everyday stuff. It's a very split issue among the church.

But I'd avoid Baptist/Southern Baptist if you were gay. They can be pretty rough against gays.
