I am saying that that has to be a very large factor in why people would choose the Xbox version rather than the Wii version. If you think the the IR aiming it far superior, why would you not buy the Wii version, it is the main factor

Ask those that bought Godfather on any console other than Wii.  Ask them why they didn't buy the game with the best control.   Chances are you'll find most answers have little to do with controls themselves.   And for the record, every review for the game agreed that the controls were far superior on Wii.  Not a FPS but the context is the same.
