The only arguable advantage the PSP has in this area over the DS is games like Resistance: Retribution and Syphon Filter - shooters that aren't all that good because of the controls.

I suppose for my personal tastes the game library argument boils down to Pokemon and Prof. Layton vs Patapon. All three are amazing franchises, but its clear which side wins lol.

Wait what? Shooter controls are better on DS... if you play any FPS on DS and play it on PSP, Ds destroys it, and same for TPS games though there are few of those on DS for some reason.

The controls may be better, but the PSP has much better games in the shooter genre.

I can't believe I forgot fighting games as well. PSP takes that too.

Played CoD4, CoDW@W, or Metroid Prime Hunters?

Seriously PSP doesn't compete FPS wise, but like I said TPS wise PSP wins because of library in that genre alone.

I've played Hunters, but not the COD on DS. I thought Hunters controlled terribly to be honest. I put it down after a few trys and frustration.

And I don't believe the DS shooters are any higher acclaimed than the PSP ones.
