Why the PS3 will not last long, let alone 10 years.

Both consoles have been on the market for the same amount of time.  According to our database there are 879 Wii games, and 479 PS3 games.  Do you have some evidence of this trend reversing?

Now how many of those games are shovelware/PS2/Gamecube games? Quite a few? Talk to Ninty.
