Not to mention all the other PS3 games like Trico, PS3 Tales of Vesperia, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and whatever exclusive Kojima has brewing for the system next that Japanese gamers will also go nuts over. |
People would already OWN the PS3 in anticipation for those games, you know. They wouldn't have bought them for nothing. They 'may' move consoles, but not that much.
Oh, and Smashchu, I HIGHLY agree with all your posts on this thread.
However, people may buy the PS3 slim due to it's sleekish looks and probably the price, but we (the consumers and users on this forum/website), have to wait and see if anything develops, whatever Sony is planning.
And this generation is already set in stone, you know. Sony doesn't give the consumers what they want, and they decide to shove expensive and unneeded technology down our throats. Technology can only go so much. The only thing the PS3 can't compete with is LIFE. Not getting religious, but games are just tools for entertainment, nothing more. If they get to complicated, they go along the lines of computers/PCs, and Sony is trying to do that. That's why the PS2 and PS3 were marketed as the Sony Computer Entertainment hardware (that's what SCE is from), and that is why Microsoft is attacking them, to show them who the REAL producers of computers (eh, software) are.
