Why PS3 can outsell XBOX 360 in overall sales

Has someone said the obligatory "360 is doomed when *insert list of games coming out that you care about and have deluded yourself into believe everyone else also cares about* are released?"

The price cut, which is everyone will constantly be reminded as the only reason the 360 outsells the ps3 and was a panic move by MS, will be the ps3's saviour and the greatest thing to happen?

the price difference between the 2 consoles focusing only on the cheapest 360 and most expensive ps3 as to why the 360 is selling better but also why the ps3 should be selling better?

point out that with those prices the 360 is only just outselling the ps3 and therefore doomed because when one product outsells another it means that it's about to be outsold and run out of the game completely.
I should point out that if you are going to use the last point then you could also look to the past for instance "align launches" to back up your argument. But if you are you must ignore the fact that your product of choice sales have actually dropped from last year whilst the other has risen.
Like you say it's doomed.
But if one products sales have dropped and one has risen and is increasing its lead over another then you need to start coming up with a new way of using skewed stats and figures as "aligned launch" figures will eventually swing in favour to your opponent.
