As I said, gaming isn't a necessity.  Should I get a free steak and lobster dinner every week because it costs a lot of money?

 

I don't think a lobster and steak can be compared to games which are essentialy data , if I could copy & paste a stake then your anaology would be stronger.

this isn't to say i'm in favour of piracy but I like to see good justification.

But why would you want a stake?  Vampire infestation in your area.

I mean I might understand if you were poor and starving and wanted to copy and paste a steak.

But ultimately, these people are downloading games like Crysis onto expensive gaming rigs.  They have money.
