Look I get the whole ban piracy thing. But where does one draws the line. I mean yea I feel that if you post describing how to pirate or how to buy pirate materials, then the post should be closed and the poster should be reprimanded. If they do it again, stricter actions should be taken. But, knowing what this OP is stemming from, to talk about the possibility of or even admitting to have done it should not be a ban offense. It a topic, more or less, like any other topic out there. It a practice that some do and it is illegal but it does happen. So are we suppose to pretend it doesn't exist and it become a bad word? If so, should we never bring up a PC game again because we all know that market suffering from it. So is the DS and PSP. It just becomes a touchy subject that you are asking the mods and owners to deal with.

And the for the record, I don't pirate games or music. But I do buy them used. And I do it mostly to purposely not give my money to a developer/corporation I don't deem worthy. As this topic was born of the guise of not supporting those people and it ruins the industry, should I be ban for that?? It perfectly legal and I have broken no laws. But because I practice something that is not view appropriate by a set of people that are not in charge, should I ban for it? Does that we should the site stop posting Gamestop news or any retail company that practice it now? There goes Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. More stuff to ponder...

I'm just saying...
