I did figure out how you can beat King Hippo without punching his cavernous mouth, but it was getting to late for me to actually execute it, and knowing how to get stars out of him gives me an idea for getting more stars out of Disco. |
Here is how you get them
- Punch him during his taunt. He always starts with this.
- punch him right before his jab (a hook will work)
- Give him a right hook when he does his hook ("Here it comes")
- Punch him when he's dancing. You must jab when his teeth shine (BONUS: if you star punch him when you can get the star, he'll go down.)
- Dodge his attack and counter it. End with a jab, then attack him with the opposite hook. This is the hardest one to get.

I knew it was going to be something like this. Some of these stars basically require a fluke for you to discover them. But it is so sweet when you find them. Well, sweet when you find them on a hard enemy, at least. :P
