Are you targetting the people in the "internet subculture" or people who wish to learn about the "internet subculture?"
If it's the former then it seems to me that the people most likely to enjoy "internet subculture" related things are likely to be sitting at home in front of a computer instead of in a bookshop. If these people are interested in books then they're also the group of people most likely to just order them online.
If it's the latter then I'm not sure. Most of the people who write books on the internet seem to have little grasp of what it's actually like beyond CNN.com.
