Also, the profit is usually spent on the following things:
- Shareholder dividends
- Investment in R&D; this means more or better games and hardware
- Put in the bank (how do you think they got 1 trillion yen in the first place)
- Mergers and acquisitions (recent example: Monolith)
- Other miscellaneous capital spending like new offices
It's not generally just given to executives, though bonuses are part of that.
