If it suceeds, and Sony's spring comback wit MGS4 and GT5 also succeeds, and Xbox 360's AAA exclusives somehow fail, and Microsft can't get a good strategy RPG, the PS3 will come in second.
If the 40 BG succeeds, all it means is that the PS3 won't be dead in the water, and Sony won't be forced in any way to discontinue the PS3 very very early.
