However you'd like - that post at least could be viewed in the context of the thread rather than the context it was originally intended. The later post could not. Whether the first post was intentionally amusing or not is not so important as the fact that in some context or other, it could be a source of amusement, no?

All right, I admit I may be going a bit slow here - but in what context could.... I mean, responding to a joke with a serious post isn't amusing except in a schadenfreude sort of way, and I don't partake in that much, no.
