It's that you can't determine if a game is a "bastard love child" on pictures alone. They don't tell you how much the game cost (despite what some think), they don't tell you how the game performs (both games have clipping, but I have yet to see slowdown in CTYD, but even RE4 on the Wii has some), or just about anything else other than the graphics.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
