Dude's latest Metal Gear made Konami over a Billion dollars. I think that plus some Sony incentives will keep the franchise exclusive

 

Ehm, I think your enthusiasm affected your calculation skills a bit. MGS4 sold some 4 million copies. To net Konami over 1 billion USD Konami had to earn USD 250 per sold game. I think the real number will be closer to USD 100 million income, not bad but the game alledgedly cosed some USD 65 million to make.

Anyway I think a new MGS will very likely be PS3 exclusive as the fanbase is there and Kojima is a complete maniac when it comes to maximizing his games.
