So much for being cheapest console in the market. I think there's never been a console selling at half the price of its closest competitor (PS3) that sold so poorly.

 

gamecube, unfortunately

 

 The closest competitor of the gamecube was the original Xbox. I'm not providing numbers or anything, but I doubt the gamecube ever was HALF the price of the Xbox (while both still being "competitive", read: not being killed off) and sold as poorly.

Hell, my previous post may have provided some nice topic for research, but no way I'm not going that deep researching flops.
