A lot of them were PS2 diehards who felt like Sony wanted to take advantage of them. the PS3 of today is NOT the same PS3 of launch. Or even a year after launch. While I would be considered an Xbot, I couldn't say that the PS3 isn't an excellent system with excellent games. However, when it launched, it charged a ridiculous premium for no return. Even a year after launch, this was the case. The PlayStation brand lost a lot of fanboys, and a lot of its strength during that period. And while they've dropped the price substantially and now have a great game lineup, the feelings of many remain. Also, some people hate Sony for killing Sega. And lastly, Sony's PR doesn't make them any friends. |
They're also responsible for turning Nintendo into a mediocre company. How is anyone supposed to forgive them for that?
Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^
