you contradict yourself mate. As far as I'm concerned kz2>>cod4>>>>>>halo 3. This isn't fanboyism. It took me 12 months to play cod4 online for 14 days. I've already played kz2 online for 13 days. KZ2's clan system is just excellent! As for halo 3, I tried and tried to enjoy both halo 1,2 and 3 (I had and xbox and I live in the US, you can be sure that I have access to multiple 360s) but just never got the appeal of the series. I went back to play cod4 recently and it just didn't feel as good anymore...hopefully MW2 has an ace up its sleeve. Frankly, a smaller community has it's benefits. Those of us who played lots of sc4 online had that kind of bond. I'm starting to see recurring PSN in KZ2, we'll see how it plays out. |
While obviously there are different tastes for gamers...including FPS types...one really cant deny Halo 3 has way more variety than any other non PC FPS game.
To me group play is everything. I play it with freinds on a daily basis and we have so many possibilities that it takes us 2 months to play everything and after that the stuff we played earlier is fresh again.
One week we will say "lets hunt for skulls and play on legendary"...after that we will do double XP weekend games...then we will be in to MLG rules and games for a week or 2 (one shot kills)...then back to regular games...then when we are bored of matchmaking we will do some forge and make our own maps and have crazy 8 freinds death matches (i find these most fun lately)...and then new maps come from bungie and its back to regular games and new forge maps ideas. The cycle is endless...
This halo 3 cycle has not stopped for a year and 8 months now...and looks to keep going with ODST and new maps.
