RSX is not 550 mhz it's 500 so..if that spec is wrong the whole thing is probably wrong..
Also there is not 8 spe's in PS3 Cell..there is 7, one is disabled for yield.
It wouldn't do any good to have 8 in a certain model PS3, as games couldn't use it, since they must work in all PS3's, and all the PS3's already sold only have 7.
Those two specs being wrong dont automatically mean a 160GB PS3 couldn't happen, but they do lessen the credibility of the informant, as internal Sony documents as he claims they are, would not have those kind of spec errors.
And BTW, a current theory is that the 40GB PS3 will have 65nm chips. It would make sense as it would reduce costs a lot, thereby helping allow the low price. It's not confirmed though.
