Lirum's death was what I thought some of the posters were referring to but I didn't find it sad at all because I had little to no connection to the character and Kaim up that point seemed to be lacking a lot of emotion. I didn't feel too sad for Lirum and Kaim, but more so for Cooke and Mack. You spent all this time rescueing them, and it's terrible that children have their mother die right in front of them. Especially being that their only goal was to save her.
