GOW III devs: SPUs are faster than you think

These SPUs can do all they want, but I'm not seeing anything from it.

Perhaps you haven't seen the PSN 1080p trailer of the engine. It HARDLY resembled ANYTHING I've ever seen running on a PS2.

 

I saw it at the Spike Video Game Awards (trailer) and it looked good.

 

Then I saw gameplay (I'm guessing it was an alpha build) on youtube and it looked like Xbox 1.5 to tell you the truth. Kratos was supposedly 4x as detailed this time around, but I don't see it.

 

First off....YouTube quality =/= loss of credibility

Secondly, if you ARE going to base it off YouTube, then if the alpha build of the game is like Xbox 1.5, then you're saying it looks like a 360 game, at least according to Ken Kutaragi LOL

 

 

If that is the only footage that has been released, how do YOU know it looks good? As for Ken Kutaragi, he has kept his mouth shut for months, and for good reason.
