Massive racing fan, think most of us english are! Also a massive GT and Forza fan.
BUT
GT has not been the same since A-Spec, it has gone downhill bigtime. The reviews show that. No GT game has reached a 90% review since 2001, almost a decade ago. Where as the two Forza games (2005 and 2007) both have scored above 90% making it the current top scoring racing game of the modern gaming world.
Forza to me is everything Gran Turismo was. It was realistic but most of all fun. GT5:Prologue was a poor poor version of the series, probably the worst i have played. Its 70% scores show others thought the same.
The ironic thing is Forza copied the GT series but for GT to get back to the 2001 glory days they need to copy Forza. We want full simulation. I could not care less how shinny the graphics are if it feels like im racing dodgems on a ice rink.
So right now Forza wins hands down.
