All this love for the SNES and the Genesis and the poor TG-16 is being left out in the cold.

Y's book 1&2 is my favorite gaming soundtrack without question. I'm not a huge fan of gaming music but I still have some of it's tunes stuck in my head almost twenty years later.

And don't forget Gates and Lords of Thunder. Both of these games had awesome soundtracks as well.

Yeah! Talking about the TG-16, Soldier Blade has one of the best soundtracks from the small list of games the console had! Let me list a few... no wait, actually, let me list them all because I can't choose the best ones as they're all too good IMO:

^ Personal favorite.

^ Second personal favorite.

^ One of the best credit themes ever!

(And yeah, Gates and Lords of Thunder's respective soundtracks are hawt... Still, I think they don't always fit the action on screen so much.)

soldier blade is good, but blazing lazer/gunhed, has a great sound track too, why nec didn't use this for the tg-16's pack in is beyond me

hellfire really shows off what the genesis synthesizer can do when it isn't just used to DAC digital music

unfortunately emulators always screw up the sound on many of the genesis games that actually make proper uses of the synthesizer

so does

phantasty star 3's opening, almost makes up for the rest of the games short comings
