3rd parties ignore the Wii?

-MH3
-Samurai Warriors 3
-DQ X
-FFCC: TCB
-Conduit
-Overlord
-TvC coming to NA
-Arc Rise Fantasia
-Little King's Story
-Bethsda new game
-Tales of Graces
-Silent Hill
-Kizuna
-Contra Rebirth
-Sakura Wars

etc.

Yeah...hardly. Not all are big games but that doesn't matter. The top 10 is filled with old games. New announcements have made much difference. And if you look at the top 10 for the HD consoles it's mainly sports and shooters and music games which isn't even all that better compared to the Wii's top 10. Instead of taking the top 10, take the total number of third party SW for each consoles. And then again the Wii would probably appear pretty impressive considering the lack of big third party titles released on it.

Unfortunately most of those games are small potatoes. Its not that all 3rd party companies ignore the Wii, just the ones we care about.

And seriously, Contra Rebirth? That's like me boasting about XBLA games. Although I'm stoked about MvC2. That alone is bigger than any game on that list you made.

LMAO MvC2 sold poorly when it first came out, it'll thankfully do better on PSN and XBLA cause of digital distribution, and for a counter to MvC2 the next installment to the vs Capcom series is exclusive to the Wii...

As for what Soriku listed DQX is one of the biggest RPG franchises ever, if that isn't major then I don't know what is.

And since when has Silent Hill been small potatoes... your logic basically seems like, if it isn't advertised as the second coming of gaming it's small potatoes but the thing is developers are doing that on the HD consoles just so they can get amazing sales to break even cause of how much money they're spending...

From my understanding MvC2 had a very limited release on every console. The Dreamcast version was the most common. But that was almost 10 years ago and everyone wanted 3D games. There has been a resurgence in retro gaming since then. That anime vs capcom game for the Wii interest me and he didn't even mention it.

The last two Silent Hill games have had horrible sales. I'd be surprised if this next release changes anything.
