I'm not a big sales follower, but this is a Playstation 3 exclusive game, and thus, its audience is limited. I've heard time and time again that XXX game will sell millions of hardware units, but it never does. Not all at once. GT fans have been buying the PS3 for a while now. I'd assume many of them already have the console. Sure, the game will be a system mover, but this game selling 10 million copies in 12 months would surprise me. It's not impossible, or improbable...but it would surprise me. Greatly. I'd assume Sony will eventually bundle it, which will help sales out a ton. Has Mario Kart Wii been bundled?

I mean, there is so much sales hype behind this golden cow, but the same supporters of this game, seemed to be less...excited...about Mario Kart Wii's sales potential.

I think some people probaby HOPE this game sells like crack, just because of the console its on. :P

or halo 3 that it's a FPS and GT5 have a chance to sell over 10 million LTD.

no one  said it will going to hit 10 million in 12 months but LIFETIME, and that it have a chance due its worldwide popularity its also one of the highest selling european games and a locals favorite but huge japan and popular in USA.
