Sony clearly had different idea's about that then the majority of the gaming crowd, including me. And i'm not under anyone's spin. I share your point about seemingly unneeded things added to the ps3. Sony should allow a similar choosing of components, like Microsoft. That's far more buyerfriendly and cheaper. As noted in other threads, Sony used Blu-Ray (in the PS3) to win the format war and as a consequence lost the console war. Sony will be forced to a pricecut sooner or later, no matter the loss. Or they would let the PS3 die.

Believe it or not, accepting the believe that "Blu-Ray isn't necessary for gaming" is a lot more than most would admit to on this forum.
Your posts are fine. I agree with most of them. I understand that you are right, when it comes to the value of each electrical part. I was simply questioning the necessity of some of those parts, and why they were included.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
