Devs have been waiting a long time for this price reduction. They will start to shift their attention back to the Playstation brand. I agree with the analyst that they will alot. Sony predicted 6 mil by end of this year, but with the new SKU Ibet they will even more.

(1) Killzone 2 and MGS4 are due out next year, not before the holidays this year.
(2) Sony predicted 6 million units for their fiscal year, which ended March '07. They didn't meat that goal but actually only 'shipped' 3.6 million (they originally stated 5.5 million, but then admitted that it doesn't make sense to count manufacutred units as shipped). Considering their prediction was for 6 months ago and they still haven't shipped 6 million world wide, it looks like the PS3 is much less susccessful than they anticipated.
So your reasoning is based entirely off of two games not coming out this year and a Sony projection that expired 6 months ago and hasn't yet been met.
