Can I trade Pokemon between a GBA Emerald and Platinum on one DS?

Yes you can.

OH that's all different kinds of WIN!!!

New plan.  Finish Emerald, start Platinum.  Migrate Graveler and Kadabra.  Find someone on VGC that is very nice and sweet and charming, and in return for them trading then trading back those two Pokemon, they get half an hour to do whatever they wish to my body.

I'll be ready in a week or two.
