Can I trade Pokemon between a GBA Emerald and Platinum on one DS?

That's what I feared. It's so sad. I dont know anyone that plays Pokemon. I am stuck with no Alakazam and no Golem.

Even if I could find anyone, can the GBA pack use to DS' wireless? Or would I actually need a GBA and a wireless adaptor?
