I don't think we can make that call, which is I think why we should go all the way back to conception.

To be honest I would like to see life in this case defined as being able to live seperately from it's host mothers womb. That would be my opinion.

An heamogenous sack of cells would not be able to survive by itself. A 30 week old featus might. Anyway that's me.

21 weeks is the earliest.  Furthermore... I'd argue your argument is a slippery slope as more and more technology occurs that makes premature babys to have more of a chance at survival.
