You do. The story if though will revolve around his death conspiracy... i think.

Anyway, its looking like the Normandy has been destroyed, and im betting thats why they think hes dead.

Shephard doesnt die..........his death is set up so he can operate for the citadel under cover and without anybody following his movements. Id imagine he is watched by everybody due to him being famous from the Mass Effect 1 heriocs at the end of the game.

Sounds right, hopefully he comes out of the dark in the end game, I would like to see large space battles in this game
