What makes you think Splinter Cell will do those #s? A serious question, not being ugly.

Its funnly how you dont even question me about the 4 million Uncharted 2 numbers I predicted even though the first only did about 2 million

It's funny that you compared these games in the first place, but hey, it's whatever. Uncharted 2 selling 3-4mill (even though 4 seems a tad high) seems feasible. Splinter Cell  Conviction selling Assassin's Creed #s (IMO) does not. Have you seen Splinter Cell #s? Sure, it isn't impossible, but unlikely. That's why I questioned it...

The first Splinter Cell sold 5.5 million copies across PS2 and Xbox 1

Right, across TWO platforms, not one.

My point is that the franchise is big and you asked  me why I thought Splinter Cell could do great numbers. It sold 3 million on the hugely unpopular Xbox 1 alone. Uncharted never has even seen 3 million yet.

What does that have to do with the price of cheese?

Splinter Cell THIS GEN, has not seen the #s they saw last gen, that's my point. And like Carl said, Double Agent came out at a time when there was MUCH less to play on the 360. Do the combined #s of Double Agent across the PS2, Xbox, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 and what do you come up with?

Splinter Cell hasnt had a true "this gen" game. It had a rushed PS2 port of a game. And by your argument, MW 2 should sell less than CoD2 because Cod 2 had less competion at the time? LOL.

First off, no! Modern Warfare 2 has the advantage of coming off of a 11mill+ seller (7mill+ on the 360 alone) the likes of COD 4. Splinter Cell does not. You just messed up there my friend.

Well your forgeting that MW 1 came off of a 2 million selling Xbox 360 game also. Which is the same arguement Im making for Splinter Cell conviction. That sales from the early days of Xbox 360 games cant be compared to sales today
