Yeh but that was when the Wii was averaging 60K a week in Japan, the Wii is in serious trouble in Japan now. PS3 and X360 is doing great. PS3 sales are double what it was last year and X360 is tripled, because of the economy that number should be way lower.

the wii is still outselling the ps3 with a 4 million higher penatration rate..

i would still consider that doing good if the wii only sold 4 and the ps3 2 consoles a week,

you cant deny the facts. sure the ps3 is doing good but anything looks good when you compare it to how misribale it was doing a few months ago.

 

It's funny how people are now comparing the PS3 to the Wii in Japan lol, a year ago if someone said Wii and PS3 sales would of been pretty well the same weekly I wouldn't believe it. For the PS3 thats double the price of the Wii in Japan, sales are absolutely amazing for the PS3.

And Miserable? that was the average PS3 sales in Japan, the PS3 use to average under 10K a week.

If the Wii sold 4 and the PS3 sold 2, the biggest shocker would be how low the Wii sold, know one would make as big of a deal with the PS3 because the PS3 is expensive as hell and this is durring a recession.

The fact of the matter is YoY the Wii is screwed and the PS3 is doing awesome.
