I saw this today and thought the same thing.
To be blunt, I doubt it. I don't see the long-term viability of a console MMO, especially one developed by sesterners. It wouldn't be that popular in Japan and all western MMO players are PC-based, as are other MMO junkies like Koreans.
They might be doing something different though and not a straight MMO.
