All MS did was buy a little time. It hasn't sold amazingly than it should of to gain a great lead. The overall lead is about an extra 2 mil on top of the 6 mil lead it had over Sony - to which Sony caught up to under a year and a bit. A Sony price cut will have a greater impact on sales than that on the 360. Price is the main factor that stops people from purchasing a PS3. With HDTV adoption/digital broadcasting and Blu Ray, we can expect to see an increase in people looking to buy a PS3 for those features and gaming. I'm seeing interest among my work mates and as they have/starting to consider a PS3 as console of choice; some of which are dedicated 360 fans (not no more). The purpose of a redesign is to make it cheaper to make and more affordable to purchase. Therefore, a price cut with a redesign is plausible. I can't imagine a slim 360 :P they could make the box slim - but I guarantee the friggen power brick would be bigger than the 360 itself. MS and hardware = crap and unreliable. MS can't reduce price much further - Sony can reduce their price more times over and that can be periodically within their projected 10yrs.

Indeed, 2 millions units is almost nothing... pfffiuu
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
