I just don't want to spend several hunderd dollars on the thing to play bluray, when I already have it on the playstation. pc's are for myspace/facebook to the majority of people, and those kinds of things you can do on a ps3 w/o lynux installed, come on, are you seriously gonna tell me pc's, for gamers are a better value? |
I'm not a elitist or anything, I do use my PC for work as well. gaming wise I started on an Apple II, one that hooks up to a TV and runs off a tape player, I don't know if that makes it original since it wasn't an Apple I but I think all gaming platforms are valid. you can do some minor things on a PS3, but it's horrible for fast multi-tasking, but at least it's not assinite like XBL where you have to pay to do stuff. value-wise, they balance out, PC games are far cheaper and you don't even need to buy them from a store since you can get everything through digital distribution, if anything, it's more advanced through services like steam or D2D etc and they always have discounts all the time on even the newer games randomly every week. even right now, I'm still thinking about selling my HD consoles, but I'm a sucker for final fantasy and JRPG in general so I can't get rid of them and I think it's a pain in my ass.
