I know it's been hinted that DS-Wii connection was available, but then again Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion also had connectivity. I'm not saying this is Metroid Dread or anything similar, but the link you gave me doesn't confirm that the game that was showcased at the event was Friend Collection.

Edit: I wrote this post before reading your second post, so it's just speculation on your side, not a solid confirmation. Although chances are it is that game, but we can't be 100% sure. I hope it's not that game...

 

 If it is a big core game for wii then I bet we don't see it until E3. I didn't realize that was article was that old lol. Yeah actually now I'm having my doubts that, that really is the game he played.

Either way I don't this is the game Harris played, if I had to guess, I would say this is a 3rd party game.
