The PS3 is very large, and a slim would allow for a reduction in production costs. Sony will do this, and if coupled with a price cut to $300, along with Gran Turismo...
It would be game over.
Sony can do this, but for all of that to come together at this E3 would be unbelievable. Too risky financially for Sony at this point in time.
So more than likely a slim won't exist until next year sometime.
Also, those leaked slim images are absolutely fake, its ridiculous its even in the news section imo. Although the real slim may look like a more refined version of that fake slim model.
