What is it tarheel91 does that makes him more knowledgeable about driving at high speeds? Are you some kind of race driver (not being rude, just curious)?
125 mp/h, that's around 200 km/h and not a whole lot imo (as you say yourself).
Regardless, I don't think anyone of us have much say when it comes to realism in race driving!

Having done a few Autocrosses and having taken my car to the limit on more than one curvy country road is my experience.  I plan on taking whatever car I buy in the next few months to Virginia International Raceway eventually and having some fun there.  I'm hardly professional, but I've driven a car hard more than one time.

I drove like a stupid c*** my first couple of years on the road. Cannot fathom how I survived, looking back at it scares the living hell out of me! Youth and stupidity cling together like Tom Cruise and strange, it seems.

I drive a little faster than the average person (about 10 over, normally), but I'm pretty responsible on the roads.  I've never caused an accident (I've been in one, but it was entirely not my fault and I couldn't have done anything to prevent it).  The main thing is to not drive like a freak around other people.
