The Wii got CoD:WaW a big M rated games with a big ad budget. It sold nowhere as well as on HD console so stop trying to convince us that mature games with similar add budget would sell as well on the Wii....
The majority of the fans of those big games you mentionned knew they would come on HD consoles and have purchased one...
The biggest pile of sh*t that was Haze outsold Madworld by a 3 ratio....

Comparing a completely gimped version of CoD (which still has sold over a -million- copies on the Wii!) To it's superior form on the HD consoles where there is a much higher ratio of FPS fans?

it is not only on the wii, a lot of developers did a lot of crap games for the Wii and the DS, even the EA did a crap games with their Need for speed on the DS. When you see the differences between the PSX hardware and DS hardware (that is not so big), you will ask: "Hisiru, why the hell EA don't did a better job or a simple NFS high stakes?" And the answer is: they want to make money in the easy way :). They think that with the great install base, they can make a crap game with low costs, and make a profit. You need to speak with a programmer and also need to understand about the Wii hardware.
