This is something Sony is trying to fix obviously, as they have more shooter games than the 360 does. However, with their lower install base in america, their games don't sell as much as the 360 exclusives do. Fact of the matter is, Sony and Microsoft are pretty equal in FPS games made, the xbox games only sell more because microsoft has over twice as many consoles sold in America. It's not really a matter of which console base is more varied, it's a matter of what the regional preferances of games are. America = shooters Europe = Racing Japan = RPG's |
