Of course Sony is going to shoot down any rumors, that's how business works! They were denying any PS3 price cuts up to the minute before the announcement of the price cuts. Any and every company will do this.
I'm taking what Sony says with a couple grains of salt, and then when they do actually announce a PS3 at E3 that has BC and a price cut, I'll be using that salt to cook my hamburgers on my new PS3 grill.
