Following last month's release of Final Fantasy VII's International Edition on the Japanese PSN's PSOne Game Archives, Square Enix has also put the original Final Fantasy Tactics online.
Yep, this is the PSOne game, not Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. It's being sold as a premium game for JPN¥ 1,000 (US$ 10). If you happen to speak Japanese and have a Japanese PSN account then this sounds like a pretty good deal. Used copies of this game generally go for double that.
Tactics is accompanied by two other PSOne games: Arubarea no Otome and Zeus Carnage Heart Second. All three games are playable on a PS3 or a PSP.
Man, that Japanese PSOne Archive just keeps on growing. Anybody else bummed out / getting insanely jealous because of this? I'm more of the latter, personally. On a semi-related note, I wonder what Yasumi Matsuno's up to now. The man's like a god among hardcore tactical RPG fans.
