| Laffer said: OK. In October it will be out 3 years.... If you look on my VGChartz Profile, you see that I have a lot of PS3 Games (around 45). Yes Ratchet and Clank is great and Drakes Fortune too. But Ratchet and Clank is just a pepped up version of PS2 and PSP versions, Drake is a very cool adventure, but somehow nothing really new besides better graphic... Some PSN games are innovative... I agree... |
Well what has the 360 done in particular to advance gaming? It's basically more of the same stuff as well. Halo 3 is pretty kickass though... :P
The only system I could put an argument up for claiming that it's done revolutionary games is the Wii, but that's probably because it's the console I follow the closest. I'm sure there are plenty of awesome and unique PS3 games out there. The problem is that the mainstream audience tends to want more of the same stuff with just minor tweaks here and there. If you want to get into the more niche, unique, and possibly more fun games for you, you'd have to start looking into the library deeper.
EDIT: Oh wow how did I forget about Assassin's Creed and Uncharted? Those are two popular, big budget, very unique games.
EDIT2: Damn, is Fat Princess coming out on XBLA? I really wanted to be able to play that. When is it coming out btw?
