Hrm, interesting. Id be gutted if that was the overall outcome of all those games but i can see a future in which that happens. Its the overall doubt that is the worst thing and confidence is shaken when you research further into things;
Nights....being developed by Sega who's reputation for great games has been seriously declining over the years, i cant remember the last Sega game that had the "HAVE TO BUY!" factor but thats possibly just me. Dont even get me started on Sonic either, i loved the 2D iterations, even the DS ones are excellent to play but i just cant stand to play the 3D ones, they are awful.
M&S......Developed by Nintendo and Sega jointly (?). This i think is an important title for Nintendo and have a feeling that they wont allow this to be awful. Again its my opinion but, and this is because of your previous point, that because its the only game involving Mario and Sonic together (so far...) they will at least want to get it right. Personally i think its a guaranteed shoe in that Sonic will be confirmed for SSBB, i imagine it will be one of the latter confirmations but i swear it will happen. Hrm, M&S is released 6 months before the olympics right? Wont that leave it available for a sales spike when they start? Not to mention the Xmas sales boost. Should have long legs but will probably sell mainly to a younger market. (Talking about this, i was in Virgin the other day and i saw a mother pick up THREE of the worst DS games at £25 a pop for her son because they were film franchises and had to be good, dear lord i almost slapped her)
I want to see higher sales of MP3, i would like Nintendo to absolutely annihalate the competition with the big 3 games this year end. Hoping more than actually believing...yet at the least.
