We don't have figures on how much profit the gain from PS2 and PSP so we can't see how deep the cut goes for just PS3.
First is fiscal year 2005 with only 8.7 billion yen i profit for the whole division. Fiscal year 2006 was -232.3 billion yen. 2007 was -124.5 billion yen.
So just by looking at the fiscal loss for the whole division its at - 356,4 billion yen just in the first 2 fiscal year where PS3 was out fiscal 2006 2007 is march 2006 until march 2008.
Predictions for 2009:
360: 39-42 PS3: 31-34 Wii: 67-70
Future projection
Wii will hit 100 million before christmas 2010 (made december 2008)
NDS Family will have sold and shipped more then PS2 at the end of 2009 (made january 2009)
