Between May 4th, 2008 and May 3rd, 2009 the Playstation 3 has grown 180.30 percent from 12,280,598 to 22,142,048 console sales.
Now, comparing that to a similar point in time in the 360's lifespan:
Between May 6th, 2007 and May 4th, 2008 the 360 has grown 188.88 percent from 9,688,208 to 18,299,157 console sales.
In the last year, the Playstation 3's rate of growth is lower than that of the 360's in a similar point in time.
