Audiences don't work like that.
There is no "2nd place market", or "3rd place market"
Do you really believe that all PS3 owners were part of the Gamecube audience, and the expansion comes from new gamers?
Or that all Wii owners came from the PS2?
It is more like a big part of the PS2 audience shared between the PS3 and the X360, most of the xbox audience staying with the 360, and another part of the PS2 audience buying a Wii.
The actual new gamers, the real expanded audience, is highly Wii-centered.
